The idea behind this project was to create an interstellar spaceport, located on an asteroid. The team and I sought to imagine what sort of societies would develop on such a construct, and pushed our design capabilities to their fullest. Our goal as a team was to create 4 different quadrants that each contained our own individual styles, while also remaining true to a cohesive design aesthetic.
My own quadrant, the Ghost Town as I called it, features the lowest economic class of the society, as the town itself shows signs of wear and tear. I created the design for an information bot, which speaks to the viewer as they travel through this section of town. I wanted to also portray some of the darker elements of early town formation, like enterprising criminals putting pressure on the the lower class, and did this by creating one central building which clearly has much more power and exalt flowing through it.
